Combining both methods would be the ideal winning combination, but for now this dream team remains elusive. Voice conversation works in over 40 languages, but can’t be used in conjunction with offline mode, since it requires an active internet connection to do its magic. Within seconds, the translation appears on-screen in a casual chat layout, with each phrase also played aloud for both parties to hear the person you’re talking with then does the same in their own language, going back-and-forth until the discussion is over. The best new iTranslate 10 feature is voice conversation: Tap the flag for your native language, speak into the device, then tap again when finished. It’s not as fast as using the full iPhone app, but assuming you have internet connectivity, tends to be more convenient for occasional use. Dictate a short phrase, and a few seconds later the audio translation plays back on your wrist. The universal app includes Apple Watch support, one of my favorite shortcuts for using iTranslate. There are many players that can play MKV files nearly on all platforms, and there are tools to convert MKV files to many formats, including DVD and Blu-ray discs.Īdditionally MakeMKV can instantly stream decrypted video without intermediate conversion to a wide range of players, so you may watch Blu-ray and DVD discs with your favorite player on your favorite OS or on your favorite device. All features (including Blu-ray decryption and processing) are free during BETA.Functionality to open DVD discs is free and will always stay free.No additional software is required for conversion or decryption.Fast conversion - converts as fast as your drive can read data.Preserves all meta-information (track language, audio type).Preserves all video and audio tracks, including HD audio.Reads Blu-ray discs protected with latest versions of AACS and BD+. I get a nice gigantic mkv file that I can convert to a better (smaller) format. It's not the most intuitive process and I wish you could pick other outputs, but it's all we've got. However, the deal-breaker is that it only works with about 15-25% of discs I've tried. Most of the time there's like 300 versions of the film that it wants to import. The scenes are all out of order for 299 of them. Only one is correct, and MakeMKV doesn't know which one, so it wants to do them all. This is clearly a key part of the Blu-Ray encryption process, and MakeMKV cannot handle it. I would love to find a Blu-Ray ripper that actually works so I can watch my BD collection on the Apple TV, but I've searched the web high and low and it simply doesn't exist on the Mac. Most are fake, or simply fail completely. I want my movies in digital format, but I feel safer having a physical format to pull from if something ever goes wrong. And if we don't do that, it will forever be an institution that is contributing-manufacturing, if you will-more wrongful convictions. How we make it something that moves toward justice, moves toward fairness. “And we need to be thinking about using technology to reevaluate the harm, to reassess the harm, so that the investigation of wrongful convictions, the investigation of excessive punishment, isn't the burden of some third party, but it becomes an essential feature of how we make policing and prosecution legitimate. we can only put people in jail or prison. “We act as if we have the capacity to put a crime in jail, in prison. “Surround the people in our system not by people who hate them, not by people who think that they have no value or no purpose or no meaning, but by people who believe that we are all more than the worst thing we've ever done." It was an honor to speak with him and listen to his perspective and stories on Possible. I’ve long admired Bryan Stevenson, what he's working toward, and what he's already built, including Equal Justice Initiative, The Legacy Museum, and The National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Even with Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm de-canonizing much of the Star Wars Extended Universe in 2012, there are other stories that could be retold even though they don't exactly fit under the Skywalker Saga banner.Īt the time of writing, two of the seven Character Packs are available because they released simultaneously with the base game. While the game thoroughly covers all nine movies in an interactive LEGO brick format, there's certainly room for LEGO Skywalker Saga to have Star Wars DLC that's more than just characters. The Skywalker Saga encompasses the nine mainline Star Wars films which are episodically numbered. This doesn't mean more substantial DLC won't come to LEGO Skywalker Saga at some point, but the game has somewhat fulfilled its initial scope. Related: How Long LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Takes To Beat The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Character Collection season pass grants access to all upcoming DLC, a bonus included in the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition, which is $10 more than the Standard. The seven Character Packs (two of which are available on release day) can be purchased separately, or in bulk in one of two ways. Every character in LEGO Skywalker Saga's planned DLC will be available by Star Wars Day on May 4. There is still the possibility that more content will come to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in the future, but the first month of the game's availability is already filled with previously known DLC. So far there doesn't appear to be any plans for additional DLC beyond the seven Character Packs. |
